Passion for God is moving on!
History:
7 years ago young adults from across the UK started gathering together to seek God and encourage one another. Since then we have met every year and every year we have known God challenge, encourage and speak to us. This year God spoke clearly that it was not to end but that he wanted to take it to a new level. We are beginning to see this outworking.
What’s the Vision?
We believe that the local church is the vehicle God wants to use to see lives transformed in ordinary communities in the UK and across the world. We believe that by providing excellent training and teaching we can better equip and empower each other to do what God has called us to do in our local churches. This combination with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and development of specific gifts as a necessary and powerful combination
It is in this context that Passion for God exists:
- To network people together to encourage and support each other in our journey.
- To help train and equip people to be excellent in their calling and ministries.
- To work together to support each other spiritually and practically to see God’s call for our churches fulfilled.
How will this happen?
1) The PFG weekend (This year on the 12-14th March, now in Northamptonshire) is an opportunity to meet together to hear amazing ministry, be provoked, empowered and excited by God at work in our lives.
2) Training Events: These events will take place across the country they may be a leadership training weekend or a monthly get together of musicians and worship leaders but regardless of the format the focus will be on meeting together, learning new approaches and encouraging one another.
3) Support: Through the network we want churches to be able to support each other either practically at outreach and other events.
4) The Website: Our new website will allow people to connect in a fresh way. As things develop there will also be resources such as talks, videos, resources .
Who’s it for?
Anyone, any church, any denomination any background. We want people to be able to tap into what is going on and be prepared to work together to see God’s kingdom moving forward.
